They are so pretty in color, taste great and are good for you! What could be better?

I found this awesome blog through Pinterest and tried Andie’s mashed sweet potato recipe and it came out great! I modified her recipe since I was only creating for one. Click to ready my modified version.


  • 1 sweet potato
  • salt
  • cinnamon sugar
  • whipped butter
  • almond milk
  • 1 pot


  1. Peel your sweet potato and chop into small pieces
  2. Put 1 sweet potato in a large pot and add just enough cold water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain
  4. Add a pinch of regular salt, cinnamon sugar and half a teaspoon of whipped butter as well as 2 tablespoons of vanilla almond milk.
  5. Smash potatoes with fork and enjoy!
